If you are looking for a competitive mount with exceptional training, perfect flying changes, talent for the FEI levels yet amateur friendly- Zorro could be the horse for you. He is shown through 3rd level in the USA, and schooling 4th. He has exceptional scores and helped his owner earn her bronze medal. Perfect age of 8 years old, and 16.3 hands. He is going to make someone’s DREAM COME TRUE! 

The only reason Zorro is being offered for sale is because his sweet owner is having to sell him for personal reasons. She absolutely loves this special boy, and has had him since he was 3.5 years. Zorro lived at her personal farm, and she trained him herself. We are helping her find his next forever partner. Zorro can only go to the best home.

With his million dollar personality he will charm his way right into your heart.

Zorro is an 8 year old gelding, 16.3, shown through third level, schooling fourth level dressage and a bit up. (he already plays with the piaffe in hand and under saddle.) He likes to work for you and will always do his best to do what you ask from him. Zorro loves to be the center of attention so if you are someone who loves to cuddle, massage or do groundwork, you really should come and meet him. He LOVES massages and will show you his preferred spots immediately.

Zorro loves to go on trails. He learned to do hill work, to go through creeks or jump a fallen tree, he does his dressage training on the trails or we just hike out. In a group or by himself. You will love going on trails with him. He is attentive but will not bolt or buck nor rear. He just thinks life is a new adventure every day. Which is nice, that gives him that extra sparkle! 

Zorro is good with the farrier, he travels like a dream, he is an easy keeper (3 scoops Triple Crown Senior and Vitamin E per day), he loves to be outside in the pasture, even when it rains. You make him happiest with tons of pasture time and friends around him.

In the field he is a leader but in a very gentle way. He will not fight but he knows how to get respect from the herd in a subtle way.

Zorro always got the treatments a sport horse deserves. Yearly Dentals, vaccines, coggins, chiropractor, regular massages. He has strong feet. He is only on shoes because the M10 footing that he works on wears the feet of too much.

I had Zorro since he was 3,5. I imported him from The Netherlands and I educated him myself to the level that he is at now. I didn’t ride many shows but with the few shows we did, we earned our bronze medal and at every show he became champion in his classes, earned highest scores of the day, won a medal for being best in his class, so tons of champion ribbons fill my cabinet and will remind me of my precious time with him. 

Zorro has clean X rays including back and neck completed on November 22, 2023.
